ABOUT
I am an experienced and accomplished writer, producer, director and editor based in Lechlade, between Bristol and Oxford in the UK.
My most current and recent work has been Tractor Ted; a series of farm based children's films, integrating real life farming with animals, children and an animated tractor. Prior to this I was busy writing, producing and directing a range of natural history based factual documentaries, alongside a number of projects as editor and edit producer (PrEditor) My considerable experience across a wide range of programme genres as producer, director and editor means I have a keen eye for a story, a dynamic writing and cutting style, and can bring new and exciting ideas to film making. I love working in a team and always strive to get the very best from people and resources available.
About Me: For the past 30 years I have worked as a freelance producer, director and editor, involved with a number of production companies, on a vast array of projects from children’s series to dating shows and dramas to blue chip documentaries. I have worked around the world in situations that have called for constant flexibility and resourcefulness, whether coaxing performances from tempestuous celebrities, amateurs or professional actors, or working on delicate issues with nervous and sensitive contributors.
I am a very experienced and fast editor and fully au fait with Avid, Premiere Pro and FCP.
I am a keen and accomplished photographer and videographer, and have self-shot a number of projects.
