Saving the Devil
18 months of filming in the wild, combined with unique access and some of the world's top Tasmanian Devil experts, enabled us to capture many unique and surprising sequences of these characterful, secretive yet little understood marsupials.
The film concentrates on a wild population in the far North West of Tasmania which has, up to this point, survived the deadly facial tumour disease which has decimated the population.
The film shows how the devils interact with other carnivores, and humans on the island. We also follow devils from birth through life growing up in the den, to their first encounters as they set out on their own.
